Mastering Life Crisis
Mastering a life crises occurs in three (3) phases:
Phase I- “The Survival Mode” – You are experiencing pure stress. It’s time to focus on your basic needs and simple “to do” items that alleviate the stress, worry and strain. I call it your first aid kit. Often this phase lasts 4-6 weeks.
Phase II – “The New Normal” – Here, we answer three questions: What is bothering you? Where do you want to go? How can we, together, make your recovery happen in the easiest, least stressful way? This is where we begin to formulate goals and identify the strengths you’ve always had (It’s time to cll them up again!).
Phase III – “The Transformation” – In this phase, the life crisis can be understood and used as an opportunity. This is the phase of mastering the crisis.
