The Pianist

There are easier passages and there are more difficult passages (periods) in our lives. We want to master these challenges.

How does a professional pianist master a complex “classical piece” – a difficult score? Such a score is a challenge for the pianist and meets by profession challenges day after day.

First, he must choose a piece to which he will devote himself. No pianist can master all scores at the same time or in one day.

The pianist needs technical skills as a foundation, a survival kit.

The pianist needs knowledge and understanding, such as harmony. Now, the pianist will start to play the piece by using technical skills and knowledge.

We speak of having mastered a piece when we’re not only playing mechanically – we interpret the piece and give it our expression. We incorporate our individuality, our personality and give it a meaning.

The pianist will not remain stuck in the practice room. He will enter the stage of life and use his training and experience to give a great concert.

You, too, will master the score of your life to live an extraordinary life.
